"the cure" is the second single from Olivia Rodrigo's third studio album, You Seem Pretty Sad for a Girl So in Love, released on 22 May 2026. Written by Rodrigo with her long-time producer Daniel Nigro, the indie-rock track leans on medicinal imagery, casting love as a "medication" that in the end cannot heal her doubt and mistrust. It debuted at number five on the Billboard Hot 100, and Rodrigo named her upcoming Unraveled Tour after one of its lines.
